That’s right, Tiny plots need to be minimal with their planting to make the space feel cohesive and uncluttered. You can also refer the article recently I came across, it was about Small Garden Ideas within your budget.

Thanks Aaron. I don’t however think less planting is the answer. You can have a lot of planting in a small garden if you want to – make the most of the space you have. And some big plants are more effective – make the space seem larger – than lots of small ones. Nice infographic in your article though!
